The idea of this rating was initially brought up by the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs and then approved by presidents of these organizations. It covers 311 largest Russian exhibitions in 48 categories. Exhibitions in each category are arranged according to 4 nominations:

  • ‘Exhibition Area’ – defines the largest theme exhibitions using the ‘Net Area’ parameter,
  • ‘Market Coverage’ – defines the largest theme exhibitions using the ‘Amount of Exponents’ parameter,
  • ‘International Acclaim’ – defines the largest theme exhibitions using such parameters as the ‘Number of Participating Countries’ and the ‘Amount of Foreign Exponents’.

The all-Russia exhibition rating is formed using true statistic data, checked and confirmed in the process of independent exhibition audit conducted in compliance with the international rules controlled by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).

The rating is created annually. It includes all exhibitions held at the territory of the Russian Federation by Russian and foreign companies, which were independently audited in the last two years. The rating information is available at www.exporating.ru.

The Novosibirsk Expocentre is the largest exhibition complex in the Asian part of Russia. Since its opening, the center became the place where the largest Russian and international exhibitions organized in Siberia and the Far East are held.
