On June 10, 2016 the 4th Exhibition of the International Forum of Technological Development “TECHNOPROM” held at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex finished operating.

The Exhibition was comprised of the following main sections: technologies in Arctic conditions, aerospace technologies, nanotechnologies, energy-efficient technologies, biotechnologies, SMART technologies, machine engineering, optical technologies, GLONASS, science, innovative infrastructure, and development institutions.

The Exhibition brought together 150 exponent companies that presented their cutting-edge equipment, technologies and innovations from 60 cities and 22 countries of the world, including such leaders of the world innovation system as Japan, USA, Germany, France, Finland, China. The Exposition took up over 5,000 square meters of exhibition space.

The main distinctive feature of this year’s exposition was the presence of custom-made stands and the “business” standard stands, over 1/3 of the area was occupied by the stands of the Novosibirsk Region collective expositions, the representatives of small and middle-size companies, IT cluster.

The scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences Siberian Department, who worked at the stand called “Science”, presented new prototypes related to ensuring the technological development of the Arctic Regions and the development of the national technological sphere on the whole.

The collective stand of the Novosibirsk Region was featuring complex projects being implemented as part of the Program for Reindustrializing the Economy of the Novosibirsk Region.

The Novosibirsk Factory of Chemical Concentrates being a part of the Rosatom Fuel Company “TVEL” demonstrated samples of cathode materials for lithium batteries and a complex solution for the manufacturing and maintenance of non-standard production equipment.

The stand of “Technoserv” company was featuring the solution complex developed in Russia called the Agro-Industrial Complex“The Safe City”.

The Novosibirsk State University surprised the visitors of the Exhibition with terrestrial globes that had unusual outlines of the continents. That was how specialists of the NSU clearly demonstrated continental drift – one of the spheres of using the paleomagnetic analysis method being developed at the NSU.

The exhibition area also included a special platform for technological presentations and workshops - TECHNO View, where the participants and guests of the event were conducting technological presentations and workshops.

Apart from all this, the Exhibition hosted a project from the Fast Chess Open Cup of the Governor among students and high schoolers. Guests of the Exhibition could also compete in this sport – for example Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation State Duma Aleksandr Zhukov took part in the amateur tournament.

Before the official opening of “Technoprom 2016” the Exhibition was attended by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. Mr. Medvedev took a tour around the Exhibition and reviewed the Program for Reindustrializing the Economy of the Novosibirsk Region. ‘The idea is very good. I hope that the base of what was done in the Novosibirsk Region, its potential in science, production, and business will help us achieve remarkable results. The region has done tremendous work’.

In two days of the “TECHNOPROM” Exhibition it received over 6,000 guests, 200 journalists, representatives of 50 editorial offices, 5 information agencies.

We thank everybody who took part in our event and attended the Exhibition of the Fourth International Forum of Technological Development “TECHNOPROM”!
