The largest agro-industrial exhibitions of Siberia – ‘AgroSib’ and ‘AgroExpoSiberia’ – opened at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex. The list of participants includes 130 companies from Russia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, North American countries, Switzerland, Great Britain, Italy, Ukraine, China, and Kazakhstan.

Exponents presented special machinery and equipment used in the sphere of animal breeding, crop farming, poultry breeding, as well as equipment for collecting, storing, and packaging agricultural products. Total area of the exhibitions is over 6,000 m2.

The events’ official opening ceremony was featuring honorary guests including the Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vasily Pronkin and General Director of IFWexpo Mr. Stephan Kresse.

The participants of the ceremony emphasized the importance of the project not only for the development of the entire agricultural sphere but also for the strengthening of international relations.

‘This event is featuring very many foreign guests. Taking into account the current international situation, I am sincerely grateful to all the guests who came to the exhibitions in order to start cooperating with farmers of Russia rather than out of political reasons. I’m sure that today’s event will bring a lot of positives to those who are taking part in our events as exponents and those ready to purchase new equipment, machinery, and technologies’, said Vasily Pronkin during his welcoming speech. General Director of IFWexpo Mr. Stephan Kresse pointed to considerable interest in developing international cooperation in agricultural sphere among foreign enterprises and German companies in particular, during his speech. According to Mr. Gresse, the German stand featuring mostly animal breeding equipment and technologies is taking part in the exhibition for the third time already.

The Exhibitions ‘AgroSib’ and ‘AgroExpoSiberia’ will be open until October 30.
