Rescuers from all over Siberia gathered at the exhibition at "Novosibirsk Expo Centre"

Over 70 companies participate in the event – guests from large Russian cities and from abroad.

"It is one of the most sought-after and popular exhibitions in Siberia –  pointed out the Head of the Main Department of the RF Ministry for Civil Defence and Emergency Response in Novosibirsk Region Anatoliy Kuznetsov. –  Serious problems are being discussed here. The most important part of exhibitions is communication. For instance, now the question of choosing a centralized alerting system is very topical. Before, there was only one type of alerting device at the whole territory of the Soviet Union. Now there is a great variety of solutions and manufacturers. It is rather complicated to examine them in internet, but at the exhibition it is possible to see what each system can do and make a decision".

The larger part of the exhibition is dedicated to the issues of the civil defence and protection of the population. The exhibition displays contemporary rescue technic and fire-extinguishing retro-cars. The visitors will see what the Governor's mobile command station for emergency situations looks like. Anatoliy Kuznetsov told, this station is not the best one in Siberia, however next year additional funding is planned for new linking solutions.

"During any emergency the greatest problem is organization of teamwork and communication, –  underlined Anatoliy Kuznetsov. –  I believe we will gain a lot from this exhibition, to equip the station in accordance with the most up-to-date requirements".

Besides, the exhibition includes such sections like "Data Protection", "Closed-Circuit Television Systems and Monitoring", "Technical Means of Ensuring Security", "Fire Safety".
