Relevant Phlebology Issues Were Discussed in Novosibirsk

On June 4, 2016 the 11^th Research and Practice Conference "Relevant Phlebology Issues" held at the Exhibition Complex came to the end.

It was the first time that the Russian Association of Phlebologists, which was founded almost 20 years ago, conducted its conference in Siberia. 

The program of the conference included workshops, theme symposiums, and discussions, as well as plenary lectures from leading European and Russian specialists.  

Key themes of the conference:

• Diagnostics and treatment of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism;
• X-ray diagnostics in phlebology;
• Types of thrombophilia;
• Prevention of venous thromboembolic complications;
• Innovative technologies of restoring the patency of  main veins in case of phlebothrombosis;
• Innovations and future technologies in phlebology. 

Besides, the11^th Research and Practice Conference "Relevant Phlebology Issues" did not only include scheduled events, but it was also accompanied by an exhibition that brought together various representatives of medical companies.

The conference became the eleventh meeting that allowed prominent phlebologists and specialists from other spheres to discuss relevant issues.
