It took the rally participants 17 days to get to Vladivostok after they covered over 11 thousand kilometers almost without stops. On the way back the drivers plan to make a few short stops in cities regarded as Russia’s exhibition centers. One of the venues planned for visit is the Novosibirsk Expocentre International Exhibition Complex – one of the largest exhibition complexes in the Asian part of Russia.

Vladimir Solovyev told us that the main goal of the rally is demonstrating the potential of exhibition and congress activities, which are underestimated in many cities of Russia. The Rally participants are carrying the flag of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF). During formal meetings with the rally team, officials write down their requests in the rally log, which will be handed over to the Executive Directorate of the Union once the rally has been finished. The racers are also making a film about all exhibition centers of the country, which will be ready at the end of their trip.

In addition to that, the AUTOEXPORALLY team is carrying a few symbolical items: a blessed icon, a State Automobile Inspectorate baton made of Kaliningrad amber, which ‘helps’ them during their trip as well as water from the Baltic Sea to be symbolically exchanged for water from seas and rivers found in other cities of Russia.

The man vehicle used by the rally participants is the ‘Prussia’ car, a four-wheeled comfortable office-motel designed by a Kaliningrad company. The car was first presented in 2012 at an exhibition show in Kaliningrad, then in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Lithuania, Finland, and Belorussia. The car uniquely combines the comfort of a motor home with maneuverability of an SUV and a minivan. The team never stayed at hotels during their trip.

The Novosibirsk Expocentre International Exhibition Complex excursion greatly impressed the rally participants. They said that this complex was currently the most modern and technically equipped centres in Russia, which could provide rich opportunities for product presentation, business contact establishment, and business development.
