The exhibition features 267 companies from 9 countries of the world including France, Germany, China, Italy, Uzbekistan, and 24 cities of Russia.

The Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vasily Yurchenko, who gave the opening speech, emphasized the importance of this exhibition for regional development:

‘Today, at the age of globalization it is important to fight for investments by creating favorable conditions. Therefore, infrastructural facilities located at the territory of the Russian Federation including those related to the housing sector, must be based on modern technical solutions’.

The Mayor of Novosibirsk Vladimir Gorodetsky noted that all sector-related departments of the city administration are participating in the exhibition:

‘This is a large industry-oriented event that features various sectors related to sustaining life of a big city. The main feature of our city and the Siberian Region overall is lengthy winter, which is 7-8 months long. That is when the use of new technologies in the process of maintaining normal life conditions is particularly important. We need to see and hear what new technologies are applied in other cities, regions and countries in order to acquire new approaches and solutions’.

The exhibition is accompanied by an intensive business program. The Forum ‘Modern Approaches to Modernization and Management of Housing and Utility Sector in Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk Region’ organized by the Novosibirsk Region Ministry of Construction and Housing Sector is being held October 1st – 3rd . The Forum is devoted to discussing relevant issues of utility pricing, repair costs as well as many other problems.
