The Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex Hosted the Discussion Devoted to National Security and Modern IT Technologies

Two exhibitions started operating at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex on September 23, 2015 – the Exhibition of Equipment, Systems, and Tools for Ensuring Security, Safety and Protection of Human Life and Activities “SIPS/Securika” and the International Exhibition of Information Technologies and Telecommunications “IT Siberia. SibTelecom”.

About 50 companies from 14 regions of Russia and China presented their fire protection and emergency rescue equipment, technical security tools, surveillance TV equipment, information protection systems at the “SIPS/Securika” Exhibition.

The Chief Counsellor at the Office of the Russian Federation Presidential Envoy in the Siberian Federal District Aleksandr Khrykin noted in his welcoming speech the constantly growing relevance of the exhibition and the necessity to install modern special equipment at various security-related organizations and agencies:

“The analysis of principal threats to national security testifies to their growth. First of all, this growth is caused by climatic changes. Rather a difficult situation that exists in the Eastern part of the Siberian district is the result of forest fires that went on to the towns and villages in Khakasia and caused death of thirty-four people, with over five and a half thousand people who suffered from fire damage. These causalities could have been avoided if the relevant fire-fighting departments had been equipped with modern special tools in time”.

On September 24 the program of the Exhibition will also include the conference that will bring together heads of security services. The conference will be devoted to discussing ways of protecting businesses using organizational and technical measures.

You need to receive an electronic ticket to attend the exhibition free of charge.

The “IT Siberia. SibTelecom” Exhibition featured companies from Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Tver, Zheleznogorsk, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, as well as Poland, which presented their modern telecommunication equipment and their achievements in the sphere of information technologies.
