The hospitality industry exhibition “Horex Siberia” and the International Exhibition of Beer, Soft Drinks, Ingredients, and Equipment “Beer Fair of Siberia” opened at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex.

The exhibitions will be featuring participants from 18 cities of Russia, as well as the Czech Republic, China, and Kazakhstan, with a total of over 75 companies taking part in these events.

The official opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot, Council Chairman of the Union of Russian Beer Brewers and Board Chairman of OJSC “Sun InBev” Andrey Gubka, President of the National Culinary Association of Russia Viktor Belyayev, Head of the Division for the Development of Hotel and Restaurant Business METRO Cash & Carry Alyona Yelshina.

April 15 featured a lot of workshops on cooking various national dishes, professional equipment presentations, as well as one of the key events at the exhibition “Beer Fair of Siberia” – the Forum “Relevant Problems of Beer-Brewing Industry”.

The following events await visitors of the exhibitions on April 16-17:

  • workshops “Italian Pizza: from Dough to Stove”, “Italian Cuisine. Easy-to-Cook Recipes, Promising Technologies”, a workshop on cooking Russian dishes, a workshop on wine including wine tasting “Italy. Premium”, “Turnkey Burger Huts”;  
  • seminars “Anti-Crisis Restaurant Management – Correction of Mistakes”, “Popular Restaurant Equipment from Russian Manufacturers”, “How Do I Open a Mini Bakery?”;
  • tasting contest devoted to the quality of soft drinks, mineral water, and clear drinking water.

Besides, the exhibitions will include the 2nd Interregional Tournament of Bar Tenders Siberian Beer EXPERT Cup conducted withthe support from the Union of Russian Beer Brewers and the continuation of the 6th Festival “Siberian Hospitality” featuring individual and team-based competitions, as well as the first preliminary stageof the All-Russian Culinary Championship Chef a la Russe.

Anyone can learn how to cook new dishes and taste different kinds of beer.
