Farmers from 30 Districts of the Novosibirsk Region Came Together at the “Harvest Days 2013” Event

“Harvesting time was especially difficult this year, as we faced harsh working conditions, but professionalism of the Novosibirsk Region farmers and the availability of modern equipment allowed us to succeed – we had gathered 2 million 760 thousand tons of grains. Such harvest is no doubt delightful, compared to the 2012 results,” noted Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vasily Yurchenko. 

The Novosibirsk Region Merit Awards were given to presidents of agricultural companies as well as farmers who worked hard for many years to boost the growth of the agro-industrial complex, and contributed greatly to socio-economic development of the Region.

The contest winners who showed the best results in harvesting grains and ensured intensive and highly efficient use of ploughland were awarded Honorary Certificates from the Novosibirsk Region Governor and MTZ-922 tractors. Farmers who took second place were awarded honorary certificates and MTZ-82 tractors while the contest participants who finished in third place received honorary certificates and MTZ-80 tractors.   

Several agricultural companies of the Region were also awarded MTZ-320 tractors for achieving the best results in harvesting grains and highly efficient use of ploughland.
