Participants of the ‘Smotra Run 2014 Siberia’ Rally Arrived in Novosibirsk

Founder of the Moscow car club Smotra.ru Eric Kituashvili together with the participants ‘Smotra Run 2014 Siberia’ Rally arrived in Novosibirsk. Over 1,500 fans of Smotra.ru came to the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Centre to meet Mr. Kituashvili. The 2014 Smotra Run Rally held annually includes 19 cities of Siberia and Kazakhstan.

Car club Smotra.ru was founded in 2009 in Moscow. Today branches of this club operate in many cities and towns of Russia. Smotra.ru does not only unite car drivers, street, and professional racers, but also assists those who support and initiate charity projects. ‘The participants of the rally visited an orphanage in the City of Astana and, of course, brought presents for the children – things for everyday use, clothes, and toys. They also plan to come to an orphanage in Irkutsk. Charity funds are raised through selling tickets to screenings of documentaries about motor rallies. Participants also look for sponsors’, told us Denis Malyshev, Head of the Novosibirsk car club Lada Club Nsk and one of the organizers of ‘Smotra Run 2014 Siberia’ meeting held in Novosibirsk. Besides, Smotra.ru and Eric Kituashvili in particular are known in Russia for organizing socially significant projects.  

Participants of the rally spent 2 days in Novosibirsk. When their visit to the capital of Siberia was finished Eric posted a message to his webpage at ‘VKontakte’ social network: ‘Novosib, I love you. Thanks for everything’. The 4 cars of the rally are currently in Krasnoyarsk. The participants of the event are planning to head for Irkutsk and then Lake Baikal.
